Hey all. Ok so I'm on the do not call list, well I still get phone calls, now granted these arn't calls from telemarketers anymore since I have gotten on the list but these are people wanting me to donate money. For example I get a call from my state patrol wanting me to donate, and then I get calls about me wanting to support negative entertainment for kids. I'm sorry but I'm not supporting your charity when you are probably a bunch of scammers anyways. And let me tell ya these people will call you until you actually answer the phone and let them know what you think or just plain hang up on them. Now granted I do have a listed number but still I don't think these people should be calling. Does the do not call list not affect people that call you to ask for your support? If not then I feel it should. Is there someone I could contact to voice my oppinion on this? Because none of those people are going to get my credit card or my cash so they might as well give up.

I hear that!!! I don't know exactly what the Do Not Call List covers. But I know people are stupid. Two of the local newspapers have called my house three or four times each in the past week or two. Now it's gotten to the point where I just fuck with them for my own entertainment. But they really need to quit.

At the time it became possible to sign up for a do not call list a few years ago, it was my understanding that charitable organizations did not have to adhere to these rules, nor do businesses that you actually do business with. In other words, you can't get calls from telemarketers for companies you have never done business with, but your credit card company or bank or cable company can call you to try to get you to upgrade or sign up for new services.

Hey all, I'm on the Do Not Call list. It took a while for telemarketers to stop calling but finally they did. Every once in a whil I get calls from my local police force and when they do call I just hang up on them. They just want money.
You guys aren't going to believe this but I even get telemarketers calling my Lazer Voicemail number. They say, "This is not a sales or telemarketing call." I think it is.

in my opinioin, people who call collecting for harities are as bad as telemarketers. They're just as irritating and annoying. as soon as i kinow who theyh are, i say, not interested and hang up. we get irritating phone calls from bellsouth wanting us to take long distance, and this is after we had it and dropped it. unkless they say right out we have dsl or dsl lite in our area for a good cost, i don't want to hear from them.I just hope it frustrates the heck out of them when we hang up on them, lol.
